Richard Reynolds

 

Richard-Reynolds-Therapist-UtahRichard believes that healthy, thriving relationships are essential for human well-being. He loves working with families and couples to strengthen their relationships and combat issues that corrode relationships like addiction and trauma.

Richard grew up in Provo, Utah and completed his Bachelor’s degree in Psychology at Brigham Young University. While at BYU, he spent four years working at a residential treatment center in Spanish Fork, Utah. While there, Richard learned to use a relationship-based approach to provide mentorship to adolescents with ages ranging from 13 to 18 years old and with a large variety of treatment issues.

Richard is currently working on completing his Master’s degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Northcentral University. He has also received training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT). His clinical interests include working with addiction (pornography, gaming, substance use, etc.), trauma, couples/pre-marital/newly-wed counseling, adolescents, and parent-child relationships.

When not seeing clients or doing homework, Richard loves to spend time with his wife and two children. He also loves the outdoors and enjoys hiking, rock climbing, camping, etc. He also loves most kinds of music and plays multiple instruments and occasionally likes to get his hands dirty while working on his car, house, etc.
