Diego G. Flores, Ph.D.

Diego G. Flores, Ph.D.Diego works with adolescents and adults. All are welcome. He will support and encourage you to identify the thoughts, feelings, and choices that shape your current environment and affect your close relationships. He will counsel and support you to find your inner self, the part of you who passionately advocates for you to create the life and relationships you want. He helps individuals regain control of their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors.

His goal is to work with his clients to help them improve their ability to function and gain satisfaction from their interaction in their multiple’s roles and environments.

Diego Flores encourages you to generate good energy from within yourself to fuel your self-discovery. While a retrospective approach is helpful in identifying old patterns, that is only relevant in understanding how those patterns may impede or support the future focus. To supplement this strategy, he uses evidence- based mental health practices to ensure success in meeting client needs. My approach combines Positive Psychology and CBT (cognitive behavioral therapy), with mindfulness and a powerful mix of the best approaches known to modern psychology. At the heart of her practice is a belief people can overcome life’s challenges. He offers a free consultation on the phone. This is a big decision, and you need to find the right person for you. He answers his own phone and likes answering questions and talking about what therapy would be like. He also does therapy online if you are traveling.

Diego graduated from Brigham Young University (BYU) in Provo, Utah with master’s in organizational Behavior (MA) and Instructional Psychology (MS). Diego’s interests evolved towards psychology and thus continued his training earning a Psychology Ph.D. (BYU) with a focus on behavioral analysis and learning. In addition, his research in the field was centered on biases of decision making and the understanding of impulsive behavior.

Diego can be an asset in assisting organizations striving to improve the wellbeing of their associates and thus benefit their organization. Diego has a decade of corporate and international experience primarily in human resources. Beyond his professional practice, Diego enjoys part-time teaching, reading, and walking with his beagle, Shilo. He is married to Fátima and has one daughter. Diego also speaks fluent Spanish.
