Jessica Wilson, Clinical Psychologist Intern

I am a student of The Chicago School of Professional Psychology where I am earning my Doctorate in Applied Clinical Psychology. My background has been working within our criminal justice system to ensure clients have access to mental health and substance use resources.

I believe everyone has a unique story to tell and no two individuals are the same. This is the way I view working with clients, and take the approach of meeting clients where they are at. The best type of treatment is the kind where you feel understood. Together we will work to find the right plan. I have a passion for helping people progress, and we will work together as a team to achieve positive change. I believe in mindfulness approaches, which focuses on awareness and acceptance to be present in the moment. I feel when you can calm your mind, you can achieve great success.

More about me: I enjoy spending time outside and find our mountains to be therapeutic. I also enjoy art, music and exercise.

Education:
