Shannon Brodie, MFT Intern
Shannon is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern. She received her bachelor’s degree in Family Life with an emphasis in Human Development at Brigham Young University. She is currently in the clinical phase of her master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy.
She has experience working with teenagers and young adults. She was a coach for teens with autism and other neurological challenges at the Heritage Residential Treatment Center, where she helped teens with social skills, engagement, emotion regulation, and individualized goals. She has also spent much of her life helping her family care for her older brother who has profound autism. She currently works with Brigham Young University Housing where she is a Hall Advisor, helping students through the challenges of living with others, navigating college, and being on their own.
Shannon is married and has one son. She is from Barre, Vermont and has five older siblings. She loves reading, scrapbooking, and musical theater.
