Lauren Heywood, Marriage and Family Therapist Intern
Lauren Heywood is a Marriage and Family Therapy Intern with a background in psychology and a deep commitment to mental health advocacy and awareness. She is passionate about helping couples strengthen their connection and communication, with a focus on supporting those healing from betrayal. Lauren provides an empathetic, strengths-based approach and utilizes evidence-based treatments to help clients make meaningful, lasting changes.
She is dedicated to creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients feel heard, understood, and empowered to overcome challenges and achieve their goals. In addition to her work with couples, Lauren specializes in working with children and adolescents and enjoys helping individuals navigate a variety of mental health concerns with compassion and clarity.
Outside of therapy, Lauren finds joy in musical theatre, spending time with her husband and daughter, and embracing her nerdy side with her siblings.
