Kyle Reid is the Clinical Director at Connections Counseling Services and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with specialized training in sexual addiction recovery and betrayal trauma. He holds the designation of Certified Sex Addiction Therapist-Supervisor (CSAT-S), allowing him to supervise other therapists pursuing their CSAT certification, and is an AAMFT Approved Supervisor.
His clinical focus and personal passion is helping couples and families build stronger relationships. He also finds deep purpose in supporting individuals working to overcome addictive and compulsive sexual behavior, as well as partners healing from betrayal trauma.
Kyle’s goal is to help you get to the root of the problem and make real progress toward healing. His approach tends to be direct. He will challenge you at times, but he also wants you to feel understood and heard throughout the process.
He believes that healing happens in connection with others. We cannot heal without support, understanding, and a sense of belonging. He also believes in each person’s capacity to create healing for themselves through responsibility, accountability, and patience.

Kyle earned his Bachelor’s degree in Marriage, Family, and Human Development from Brigham Young University. He completed his Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy from Alliant International University in San Diego and joined Connections Counseling Services in 2012.
His national presentations to sex addiction therapists have been well received in the professional community. At Connections, Kyle closely supervises our sexual addiction programs and therapists.
Kyle sees clients at the Orem office. He is available during daytime hours on a permission basis and currently has limited availability.
Kyle has spent most of his life in Utah and currently resides there with his wife Jessica and his two daughters. Beyond his clinical work, he is deeply spiritual, and his greatest passion is his family. When he is not working or spending time with his wife and daughters, you can usually find him on the golf course working on his swing.
