Conner Dunn is an Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (AMFT) at Connections Counseling Services specializing in children and pre-teens. He earned his undergraduate degree in Psychology from Brigham Young University and his Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from National University.
Conner has a passion for helping children ages 5 to 13 navigate the stresses, changes, and anxieties of life. He also works with families to strengthen relationships and support the whole family system.
Conner brings a chill and relaxed style to his sessions. He creates a safe space where children feel heard and comfortable discussing anything that may be bothering them.
His approach with kids and pre-teens combines child-centered play therapy, where the child has the reins, with directed play therapy, where Conner gently introduces activities to explore certain emotions and related topics.
Conner believes therapy helps people realize the dynamics within their own lives. It is easy to become comfortable with how things are, and therapy provides the space to see things differently. His focus is on helping children and families become comfortable with themselves.

Conner utilizes several approaches tailored to young clients:
Conner sees clients at the Murray office and offers telehealth, though he prefers in-person sessions. He is available Monday, every other Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday from 3 PM to 8 PM.
Conner is married to his wife Rebecca. Outside of work, he enjoys hiking and walking with his dogs, including his coonhound Artemis. In his free time, he loves movies, music, exercise, and playing guitar.
