About Danielle

Danielle is a Marriage and Family Therapist Intern at Connections Counseling Services, specializing in helping women, minorities, and those suffering from betrayal trauma. 

She also loves working with children, adolescents, couples, and families. She believes that therapy can help each person to truly know themselves and to identify where and how they need to heal.

Danielle describes her style as thoughtful, compassionate, and warm. She genuinely cares about people and believes that each person is capable of feeling whole and happy in their lives. She utilizes evidence-based practices to help others heal from their wounds and live as their most authentic, joyful selves.

Danielle believes each person has a fascinating story in their past and in their future. She loves to use therapy to help individuals see that they are the author of their own story and to empower them to own the narrative of their lives. 

Education and Training

Danielle is a current Master’s student in Marriage and Family Therapy at Touro University Worldwide. She also has a Master’s in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish, both from Brigham Young University. 

Location and Availability

Danielle sees clients at the Murray office and offers in-person / telehealth / hybrid options. 

A Little About Danielle

Outside of work, Danielle enjoys spending time with her husband, Ty, and their five children. She loves cooking and baking with her kids and some recent achievements in the kitchen include making homemade donuts, crullers, and English muffins with one of her daughters. She also loves studying other languages, traveling, going on walks, swimming, and watching British murder mysteries while doing the dishes.

Danielle is half-Samoan and is passionate about the experiences of Pacific Islanders and making sure women and minorities have a voice.
