What is psychological testing?
Psychological testing uses standardized, validated tools to objectively assess cognitive functioning, attention, learning differences, emotional patterns, and diagnostic criteria. Unlike a clinical interview alone, formal testing provides measurable data that leads to accurate diagnoses and targeted treatment recommendations.
Types of evaluations we offer
We offer ADHD evaluations (children and adults), learning disability assessments, cognitive ability and IQ testing, emotional and behavioral assessments, and general diagnostic evaluations. Each evaluation results in a comprehensive written report with findings and recommendations.
What to expect
Testing is typically completed over one or more appointments. You'll receive a detailed written report and a follow-up session to review findings and next steps.
Insurance & access
Testing may be covered by insurance. We accept Select Health, BCBS, DMBA, and EMI Health and will help verify your benefits. Available at our Orem and Murray offices.
