Our approach
Our couples therapists draw on the two most researched approaches in the field: Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), which works on the attachment cycle underneath your conflict, and the Gottman Method, which builds concrete skills — Love Maps, repair attempts, and managing the perpetual disagreements every couple has. Several of our therapists practice the Gottman Method and two are Gottman-certified. Which one leads depends on what you need; often it is both.
The work continues between appointments. Most couples leave with something specific to practice at home, because that is where new patterns actually take hold.
Several clinicians also hold training in EMDR and Brainspotting, which matters when an old injury keeps driving a present-day cycle. For couples affected by sexual betrayal or sex and pornography addiction, we coordinate with our CPTT and CSAT clinicians so the whole picture is treated.

What to expect
Begin with a free 30-minute consultation to find the right therapist and approach. Early sessions map your relationship's patterns and goals. From there you practice new ways of communicating, repairing, and reconnecting — at a pace that feels safe for both partners. Sessions are 53 minutes and usually weekly to start.
Premarital counseling
Premarital counseling builds shared expectations around communication, money, intimacy, in-laws, and faith before those questions turn into conflict. It is usually short-term and available in Orem, Murray, or online across Utah.
Insurance & access
We accept Select Health, BCBS, DMBA, and EMI Health, and we will help verify your benefits. Available in Orem, Murray, and online across Utah.
