Alex Pratt

Alex Pratt is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Certified Sex Addiction Therapist (CSAT) at Connections Counseling Services. He grew up in California and moved to Utah to pursue his goals as a therapist. In the early years of his education, Alex worked with the Strengthening Families Program at Utah Valley University, teaching family and parenting classes.

Throughout his career, Alex has had the opportunity to work with people from various backgrounds and with a wide variety of concerns. After starting his work at the Family Counseling Center in Murray, he quickly developed a passion for working with couples on their marital and pre-marital concerns.

His work with couples has helped him develop a profound belief in people's capacity to change. Whether working with families, couples, or individuals, Alex focuses on helping people find a path that enables them to make full use of that capacity.

Alex has a love of music that stems from his childhood desire to be a classical songwriter. He enjoys writing and hopes to further his career by writing books to help other therapists grow. He also enjoys teaching, and is working toward supervising new therapists to help shape the field.
