About Chris

Chris De la Vega is a Therapist at Connections Counseling Services and an AMFT specializing in trauma resolution, anxiety, depression, relational conflict, and life transitions. He is trained in multiple evidence-based modalities and is known for integrating psychoanalytic approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), and Ketamine-Assisted Therapy into his work.

Chris works with individuals (adolescents 12+ and adults), couples, and families. He believes in a collaborative, culturally responsive approach that honors each client's unique background, values, and belief systems.

Whether navigating trauma, struggling with anxiety or depression, experiencing relational conflict, or moving through major life transitions, Chris helps clients achieve meaningful and lasting change. And when challenges feel overwhelming or outcomes feel uncertain, he supports clients in building resilience, insight, and healthy pathways forward.

Outside of work, Chris enjoys spending time with family and friends and values living a balanced, meaningful life. He is passionate about helping people feel truly understood and supported as they navigate their healing journeys.
