About Christopher

Christopher Knox is a Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CMHC) at Connections Counseling Services, licensed in both Utah and Arizona. He has enjoyed working with all kinds of people — kids, teenagers, individual adults, and couples — and his ideal client is someone who can recognize there is a struggle, is honest and transparent, and is open to exploring how things can change.

Chris enjoys learning about his clients and understanding what they are experiencing. He works hard to create a judgment-free space where people feel comfortable being vulnerable, transparent, and honest. His primary approach is curiosity — he wants to understand what the struggle or challenge is, and how each person may best respond to making changes.

Chris views healing and personal growth as daily opportunities. We are all imperfect beings, and deepening our understanding, empathy, and knowledge is a daily pursuit. One area he feels especially passionate about is helping people appreciate, respect, and understand different beliefs, behaviors, and decisions — most conflict can be worked through by taking perspective and feeling what someone else may be feeling.

Chris is a family man who loves the outdoors. He has been married for over 23 years and has four children, almost all now on their own. He has always enjoyed athletics and being out in nature.
